[ switch to easy-to-read mode ]

These Terms of Service (hereinafter: the “Terms”) govern the use of the online game and related web services (hereinafter: the “Service”) operated by World of Blocks (hereinafter: the “Service Provider”).

1. Definitions

  • User: any natural person who uses the Service.
  • Account: user access registered with an email address and assigned to the User.
  • World: a digital game space, save, or project created in the game.
  • Content: any item created or uploaded by the User (e.g. structures, names, and text).
  • Virtual items / credits: digital entitlements or balances that can be used within the Service.

2. Acceptance of the Terms

By using the Service or registering a user account, the User declares that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. If the User does not accept the Terms, they may not use the Service.

3. Registration and account

  • Use of the Service requires the registration of a user account linked to an email address.
  • The User must provide accurate information during registration and keep their access credentials secure.
  • The User is responsible for all activity carried out through their account.
  • Usernames may not contain hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, offensive, or misleading content. We reserve the right to modify or remove usernames that violate these rules.

4. Eligibility and age requirements

In general, use of the Service is not subject to an age restriction. The User uses the Service at their own risk. Chat associated with multiplayer features only operates between invited Users.

5. Operation of the Service

  • One account – one world – one browser tab: a user account may edit one active world at a time. If multiple browser tabs are active, the Service may suspend the additional sessions.
  • Account sharing: the Service Provider does not prohibit account sharing; however, the User is responsible for all activity associated with the account.

6. World visibility and public access

  • Worlds are private by default.
  • The User may configure a World’s visibility as follows:
    • Private: accessible only to the User.
    • Unlisted: accessible to anyone with the direct link, but not displayed in public lists.
    • Public: displayed in public lists, searchable, and accessible to everyone.
  • The User acknowledges that Content in a public or unlisted World becomes accessible to third parties.

7. Prohibited conduct

  • using automated tools, bots, or scripts;
  • publishing unlawful, offensive, hateful, or distasteful Content;
  • intentionally overloading or attacking the Service;
  • circumventing or abusing game mechanics.

8. Multiplayer and chat

  • Chat is permitted only between invited Users (username-based whitelist).
  • Users are responsible for the content of their communications.

9. Payments and microtransactions

  • The Service may offer microtransactions.
  • Payments are processed through third-party providers (Barion, Stripe).
  • The Service Provider does not store payment card details.

10. Virtual items and refunds

  • Virtual items do not constitute property; they provide only a limited right of use within the Service.
  • As a general rule, refunds are not provided after a successful purchase, except where required by law.
  • In the event of verified data loss, the Service Provider may provide in-game credits as compensation.

11. Accounts and sanctions

  • The Service Provider may suspend an account temporarily or permanently, or delete Content, in the event of a violation.
  • In cases of repeated or serious abuse, technical restrictions (e.g. based on IP address or device) may be applied in compliance with applicable law.

12. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by mandatory law, the Service Provider is not liable in particular for bugs, data loss, unavailability, or damage resulting from account termination.

13. Data processing

Detailed rules governing the processing of personal data are set out in the separate Privacy Policy.

14. Governing law
